Continuous

The rain soaked trees

peep out of my head

as the butterflies hover around.

Fireflies dance around me

under the darkened skies

when I close my eyes.

I dive into silence

chasing oceans inside my heart.

Landscapes appear and disappear 

as I walk on air.

The windless night and the

starless night collide

to give birth to the

endless horizon,

that is me.

And in me,

I see silence explode into a billion fragments, to give birth

to planets and stars.

Years, they pass me by

I notice, yet I don't.

I let them pass.

The burning embers of my soul

flow out of me inadvertently.

I notice, yet I don't.

I let them pass.

The void, the chasm, the stasis.

They follow me where ever I go.

I notice. I let them pass too.

I dissolve without dissolving.

Yellow flowers lined up on the soft green grass

The quiet of the place

Settles down through the foliage of the giant tree.

Silence stabs, and howls into the ears of the afternoon emptiness.

The blue sky

Stays far away yet nearby

Ah, somebody leave me here for eternity!

But even eternity can't help eternity 

Things change, and evolve as time goes on. Yet they don't change.

Amidst the falling trees and drifting clouds.

The evening rose above my head.

To lose oneself under the night and maybe to forget the morning birds' call every day.

I might as well give up.

Give up on this dream.

As I drift into the passing night 

new worlds are waiting 

patiently, ever patiently for me.
